We, Kim and Dylan, met in 2016 while attending UNC Wilmington. Since then, our lives have always remained at the water’s edge. As experienced sailors, we have covered thousands of nautical miles.
Our love for our home and the water is rivaled only by our love for sailboats. Since we met in 2016, we’ve owned lots of different boats, each telling a story (some more fun than others!). Our boats have lived many lives; some as our full time home, others as a way for us to explore new places, and some even featured in movies and TV shows!
Dylan holds a USCG Master License with over ten years of experience. His passion for sailing and exploring the world through the wind is the driver for Voyager’s newest endeavors in Carolina Beach.
Voyager is a 1983 Liberty 38. She’s the first of only six of this boat ever built. We purchased this boat as an anniversary gift to one another in November of 2025 in Beaufort, NC. Prior to our ownership, she was sailed, loved, and maintained by a handful of other couples.
